What inspired you to do what you do?
I feel that I can make a difference in the world by giving consumers the best quality product that I can every day.
What do you like about working for Omega Protein?
The team I work with on a daily basis is very hard working and just a great group to work with. The commute and the benefits are a definite plus too!
Before starting with the Company, I had previous dairy experience at a butter and a mozzarella cheese facility. I was brought in to work at Reedsburg Plant as a Process Operator initially, and over the last few years I have been promoted to Process Lead Operator. Then in March 2012, Steve Vermeulen selected me to work in the Blending Department and over time became the Blending Lead.
Something interesting about me…
I love to go camping and ride motorcycles with my husband. This past summer I finally took a motorcycle riding course and became a licensed rider.
